Half/Half Nails

Supplies

• 2 different color polish-pick 2 that go well together
• tape 
• top coat polish

1. take first color polish and paint all nails
2. let dry until completely dry
3. take stripes of tape and cut them in half, vertical.
4. put the stripes of tape on finger diagonal
5. paint half of the nail with your second color.
6. finish with clear coat

Polka Dot Nails

Supplies

1. Start with clean nails.
2. Paint all nails with the white polish.
3. Use red, blue, green, and yellow to splatter dots on nails.
4. Finish with a clear top coat.

Nautical Nails

Supplies

1. Start with clean nails.

2. Paint all nails first with the blue polish.

3. For thumb nail make one diagonal stripe with the gold nail polish.

4. Go back inside that stripe and make thin horizontal lines.

5. For extra effect cover another nail with the gold polish.

6. Finish with a clear top coat.

Newspaper Nails

Supplies

• nuetral color nail polish
• top coat nail polish
• cup of vodka/rubbing alcohol
• page of a newspaper

1. clean nails, trim cuticles, remove all previous polish. 

2. paint nails a neutral color.

3. get cup of vodka, or rubbing alcohol.

4. cut strips from the newspaper to fit each nail.

5. dip strips in vodka and press firmly and steadily on nail for 20 - 30 seconds.

6. finish with a top coat.
